This work is the 2nd creation of series “Painting is painting is painting is painting is?”.

It employs the canvas – originally the image carrier – as the major material to create pictures. Cotton threads, the basic materials for weaving canvas, were pulled out, then pasted on another canvas. Originally, line is the basic element of painting. In this work, from unweaving to pasting, “lines” were shifted from one canvas to another, and created two pictures .
