Mio Peng Fei, a famous painter in Macau, was born in Shanghai in the 1930s. In addition to studying realistic painting, and studied many modern painting genres, for the impressionism, post-impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism, abstract painting and so on. In 1998, Mio moved to Macau. There are some large-scale solo exhibitions have been held since then, such as the “Water Margin Series” and “Survival Status”.

in Shanghai and Macao Mio has been engaged in painting teaching and has nurtured numerous outstanding practitioners in the field. This is the result of the “Mio Peng Fei and his student works exhibition”, organized by Gu Yuan Art Museum.
