site specific installation in the Ruin of “Ilha Verde” Monastery(bamboo sticks, masking tape, light bulb)

started form this place, long time ago, …a monastery…, religion… holy…, … faith, … dogma, obey… weak…, hurt, … penance…, escaped…, … isolated, … time…, past…, happened…, now…, you, …I…, ruins.

This work was invited to participate in an exhibition entitled “Life-size Palace”- installation Art Exhibition at “Macau Fringe 2002”. It is a site-specific installation work in the Ruin of “Ilha Verde” Monastery(the Ruin has now been demolished now). The idea mainly based on the site-specific theatre “The Rise and Fall of Breathing (I) & (II)”(Dir: Edwin Lung) which was about the history of a mysterious monastery, a long forgotten by the world, hidden in the gloomy woods of the Ilha Verde Hill.
